The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has extended the date for submission of statement of unclaimed or unpaid amount to the commission through the eServices portal till March 31, 2018. According to SRO 2(I)/2018 issued by the SECP here on Monday, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 510 read with section 244 of the Companies Act 2017, the Commission, in continuation of its previous notification SRO 1008 (I)/2017, dated 5th October 2017, has extended the date of submission of statement of unclaimed or unpaid amount in terms of Section 244 of the said Companies Act 2017, as follows:

The date of submission of requisite statement to the Commission through the eServices portal, which was due on 31st December, 2017 is hereby further extended till 31st March, 2018. Moreover, it is clarified that in case companies have no reportable information under section 244 of the Companies Act 2017, such companies shall submit nil statement through the eServices portal, the SECP added.
